Hi Andy… Yes, we are beginning a journey of discovery here. Through these pages we will see how many senior citizens no longer fit the stereotyped images of elderly, poor and failing people. Todays seniors are vibrant, alive, involved and enthusiastic.

As a senior citizen myself I have become aware of how many of us are changing as we experience new things. For us life is far from over; living richly has become the standard of life for many.

This is the Home Page of ActivelySenior.com and this is the first post by Andy who is mentoring Bev as she builds this online oasis of interest for senior surfers to land and explore.

The theme is related to seniors and your more active lifestyle these days compared to many years ago when people had poorer finances and health. These days we are seeing an increasingly long-lived life span and more active and fulfilling retirement years for our current crop of seniors.

Hopefully I have captured the essence of what this site is themed around and before I have the chance to mess up I should hand the next post over to Bev to introduce herself and clarify what I may have missed.
